Since 2002, EDT software has been embraced by an international client base of GLOBAL100 and magic circle law firms, fortune 20 corporations, government agencies, forensic experts and consulting service providers.
Jo has degrees in law and computer science and extensive international experience in the application technology to law. Over the last 25 years, she has held managing director and CEO roles in a number of legal technology companies, three of which she founded. Jo has also been engaged as a court registrar, a technology strategist, an advisor to the courts, a legal business analyst, a software architect and a law society CIO.
Jo has been engaged as a strategic technology advisor and consultant to a number of international law firms, courts and justice agencies including the Canadian Judicial Council, the Federal Court of Australia, the Queensland Courts, the Victorian Courts, the Ministry of Justice in Alberta, Canada, the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General and the Council of Chief Justices of Australia and New Zealand.
She is a member of the Data Law / Information Governance Board of Advisors for the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York.
Jo is also an accomplished public speaker who presents regularly in the international justice technology arena. She served on the editorial board of National Magazine, MIS and was a finalist in the Telstra business woman of the year awards.
Jo also enjoys long distance running and competes in various international marathon events. Her personal best time is 3 hours.
