Thomas is VP, Market Development for Digital DNA, an e-discovery and forensic lab which was named to CyberNYC’s Cyber Startup Radar 2019. He also serves as a Security Advisor to the US-Israel Economic Mission and is a contributing author for Thomson Reuters’ 3 volume legal treatise, Cybercrime & Security, focusing on cyberinsurance. Previously, he worked in business development for Cisco Systems where he was responsible for the build, buy, and partner strategy for the Security Business Group. He also worked in a variety of startups, most notably heading partnerships for the enterprise software company, Cvent. As a lawyer, Thomas worked for Goldman Sachs, UBS Investment Bank, and the Falconwood Corporation, where he focused on law, licensing, M&A, and private asset transactions.
Thomas earned a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from The State University of New York at Binghamton, an MBA in Corporate Finance from New York University and a JD from The University of Southern California Law School.
