I have a diverse background in the practice of law, information management. information regulatory compliance,including privacy and security issues, records management (domestic and global), knowledge management, search retrieval methodology,big data analytics, complex global research, strategic planning, work flow efficiency, ethics, change management and information risk management. I currently focus on consulting with cross-sector corporations, law firms, and non profits on information governance particularly in the areas of e discovery, privacy and security, records management, including ensuring accurate record retention policies and schedules, and defensible disposition. The current need to implement change on all levels in an organization to reach critical needs in taming big data through records and knowledge management and analytics of repositories, while concurrently protecting private information, preparing for potential litigation, and ensuring business continuation, has resulted in a compliance and economics based information governance and data governance approach that uses all of my skill sets.
