I am an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. I am interested in the intersection of law, technology, and society. My practice is focused on providing intellectual property counseling for clients in the following technology spaces: cryptocurrency, blockchain, and smart contracts; financial technologies; business methods; trading systems; network and internet communication; and navigation and routing.
I'm also an adjunct professor at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law where I teach class on Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and the Law. I have given talks on the cryptocurrency/blockchain technology space, and legal considerations surrounding this new technology, which you can find listed below.
Prior to becoming an attorney I was an election professional in Leon County, Florida where I worked for the Supervisor of Elections office administering elections which covered the 2008 and 2010 election cycles. While at the election office I gained experience in all aspects of absentee voting, voter registration, voter awareness, and voter outreach activities.
