Mr. Hicks is the Director of Information Governance in the Hilton Worldwide Legal Team based in the Washington DC Metro Region. He specializes in developing records policy, implementing enterprise level records programs, and implementing information management solutions. His experience spans record retention evaluations, legal obligation advisory, and leading multinational investigation teams for the Internal Revenue Service, Securities and Exchange Commission, and as a director of professional services group for two of the leading computer forensic and electronic discovery software vendors.
Mr. Hicks has established computer forensic and electronic discovery service groups at public and private sector clients, managed large-scale electronic discovery and computer forensic projects, and provided legal consultation for complex international litigation matters. He has extensive experience helping clients review and implement litigation risk management plans, as well as data security best practices.
Mr. Hicks has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and a Juris Doctorate, from the Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. He is also an EnCase Certified Examiner and a member of the Washington DC Bar Association.
