Michael R. Booden is Associate General Counsel with Brookfield Properties where he has a leadership role in shaping and managing the contracting process for the organization including negotiating and drafting complex commercial transactions and providing advice and counsel on privacy laws and corresponding compliance obligations. Mr. Booden is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He has served as either first or second chair in over thirty trials in state and federal courts and before administrative judges. He has also authored several appellate briefs and represented clients before state and federal appellate tribunals. Upon graduating from The John Marshall Law School, Mr. Booden served as Judicial Law Clerk to John J. Stamos, who formerly served on the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court. Mr. Booden is a past President of the Chicago Chapter of the ACC and a past Chair of the ACC National Litigation Committee.
