Katherine F. Froelicher is a staff attorney in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and regulatory issues in the alcohol beverage industry.
Since joining McDermott, she has focused her practice on e-discovery and data management issues relative to White Collar Criminal Defense, Contract Disputes and Corporate Compliance. In addition Katherine counsels clients on federal and state requirements relating to the distribution and sale of alcohol beverages.
Prior to joining McDermott, Katherine consulted for several prominent international law firms, conducting electronic discovery and due diligence review. Katherine also served as a Government Affairs Specialist for one of the largest regulated energy conglomerates in the United States where she focused on renewable energy policy.
Katherine received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School where she was awarded pro bono honors. While in law school, Katherine studied abroad at the George Washington University Oxford Program in Human Rights Law at Oxford University. She was also involved with the State Department partnership on Kosovo Criminal Procedure Code and the International Human Rights Clinic on Ethiopia-Eritrea War Crimes Commission negotiations. Katherine was an intern for the International Labor Rights Fund, as well as in the Office of the Attorney General for Washington, D.C.
