I have worked on a wide variety of information privacy and security matters since the early 1990’s for financial institutions, insurance companies, health service providers, analytics companies, consumer research companies, cloud computing service providers and users, multinational businesses and emerging technology enterprises.

I help businesses address the complex and ever changing patchwork of federal, state and foreign data protection laws, regulations, rulings and standards in their online and offline activities, in the cloud, and in their corporate and commercial transactions.

My current research focuses on the use of personal data in analytics, big data, connected objects, smart cities, and robots.
