Attorney Anessa Allen Santos has practiced law for more than 15 years, providing legal and business consulting services to startup and technology companies on diverse matters such as blockchain and digital currencies, corporate law, governance and compliance, intellectual property and securities. Anessa presently serves on the Technology Law Committee and the Digital Currency Task Force of the Florida Bar Association. She has developed and taught courses in contract drafting as an adjunct professor at Florida A&M College of Law and serves as a mentor to technology startup incubator, Starter Studio. Anessa is a frequent guest lecturer, keynote speaker and author of related materials on matters pertaining to law and technology. Fluent in Spanish, she has been featured on programs televised on Univision and Telemundo, various radio shows throughout Florida, and has made public appearances throughout Latin America to speak on cross-border business development. Recently voted one of Orlando’s Top 20 Lawyers, Anessa has received a certificate in blockchain strategies from the University of Oxford, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton, and a Bachelor’s in Diplomacy and Human Rights from Wright State University.
