Andy G. Gandhi, a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes and Investigations practice in New York and Co-Leader of the Financial Crime and Digital Investigations segments, is a data risk specialist with more than 18 years of experience.
Mr. Gandhi specializes in leading global enterprise and data risk related engagements with a focus on complex technology, compliance and investigations. These matters include financial crime & compliance regulatory inquiries and matters driven by civil, federal and international courts requiring transactional data risk/analysis; information security; computer forensics; data governance and electronic discovery services.
Mr. Gandhi actively assists global corporations in investigations for fund misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty, embezzlement, sabotage, intellectual property theft, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and other internal fraud issues. He counsels clients in preparation for discovery and on reasonability of electronically stored information (ESI). Mr. Gandhi also supports corporations in clarifying and responding to ESI requests for the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and civil litigation inquiries. He has also testified and presented expert reports.
