As a subject matter expert focusing on people, technology, and process management, Carolyn prides herself on providing practical, creative solutions through in-depth knowledge, project management principles, research, and previous hands-on experience. Carolyn is a leader who provides guidance and support on evidence management and case management issues, overcoming challenges by leveraging technology and best practices to manage the risks associated with electronic information.
As a former e-discovery manager at a Bay Street firm, Carolyn strives to bridge the gap between legal and information technology teams while leveraging best-of-breed tools and processes to solve their problems. Carolyn is passionate about court modernization and is a member of the Ontario e-Hearings Taskforce, a forum whose mandate includes developing best practices for conducting e-hearings. She is president of the Toronto chapter of ACEDS, is a founding member and has served as a director on the not-for-profit board of the Toronto chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She is also an active member of The Masters' Conference and Sedona Canada. Carolyn is continuously learning new technologies and holds multiple industry-related certifications.
