Pauline Levy is Senior Counsel for McDonald’s Corporation and has been with the Company since 1997. She is a member of McDonald’s Litigation team, managing commercial litigation for the Company including class actions, franchising, real estate, intellectual property, commercial fraud, breach of contract, employee theft, and other business disputes. Ms. Levy in actively involved with the Company’s efforts and strategic direction with respect to e-discovery and is a frequent speaker and panel member on this topic. Ms. Levy has headed McDonald’s Legal Department’s award-winning Pro Bono Program since its inception. Ms. Levy has served on, among other things, the University of Illinois College of Law Board of Visitors/Advisory Board to the Dean and the Board of Directors of the Chicago Public Interest Law Initiative. She was a member of the Sedona Conference on Electronic Discovery and its working group on Best Practices for Electronic Document Retention and Production in litigation. She also was a member of the Seventh Circuit’s E-Discovery (Pilot Program) Committee and a member of its subcommittees on preservation letters and early case assessment. She currently serves on the Abraham Lincoln Marovich Scholarship Committee and the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Annual Awards Committee. Ms. Levy obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign, summa cum laude and Bronze Tablet, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law, magna cum laude.
