Kelly M. Warner is a partner with Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP, a national litigation-focused firm made up of experienced, top-level trial lawyers. We offer services in product liability and mass torts, class action, white-collar criminal defense, intellectual property, and general litigation. We are dedicated to putting the priorities and interests of our clients ahead of our firm.
Kelly conducts internal investigations, responds to regulators’ inquiries, advises clients on corporate compliance, and represents clients in prosecuting and defending complex civil litigation matters involving allegations of breach of contract, securities fraud, defamation, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, negligence, and violations of federal criminal law, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
Kelly has extensive experience assisting clients and colleagues with understanding and leveraging technology for use in litigation. Kelly is the co-chair of the Education Sub-Committee of the Seventh Circuit Pilot Program on Electronic Discovery and is an active member of Working Group 1 of the Sedona Conference.
Kelly is committed to providing legal representation to individuals and organizations that cannot afford to hire legal assistance and is very active in pro bono matters. She has represented, along with Northwestern University’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, an individual wrongfully convicted of arson, who was exonerated. Kelly has led a legal clinic run in connection with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) for a number of years and she remains an active volunteer providing legal services to indigent Chicago residents. Kelly formerly served as an Executive Member of the Board of CVLS.
