Julia is General Counsel and VP of Sales with CloudNine. At CloudNine she leads the sales team and has extensive experience in information governance, data discovery and legal discovery. Julia focuses on helping clients manage, simplify and mitigating costs associated with data discovery and litigation response. A background in both law and technology allows her to work closely with Fortune 500 corporations and AmLaw 250 law firms to design and effectuate strategies that address all stages of the EDRM – from the creation of data through productions and defensible deletion. Julia also directly assists clients with litigation response plans and workflow, preservation protocols, custodian interviews, meet and confer readiness, processing and search protocols, review strategies, and production protocols.
Before entering the world of ediscovery and technology, Julia worked as a litigator for the New York law firm of Saiber LLC where she focused on labor and employment; trademark and copyright; unfair competition; trade secrets, restrictive covenant/employment agreements and protection of customer lists litigation; and antitrust law. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark, where she was Managing Editor of the Rutgers Computer & Technology Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. Julia received her B.A. in History with a minor in Education from Columbia University - Barnard College and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
