Chris Hurlebaus is the Director of Client Engagement for eTERA Consulting, an electronic discovery, document review and technology consulting company providing services across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model across the globe.
In his current position, Mr. Hurlebaus is responsible for growing and educating eTERA’s clients on eDiscovery best practices and providing more efficient and cost-driven ways to handle electronic data. This education includes how to be more risk adverse and aware, creating solutions that better align with the latest directives of the FRCP and keeping ahead of the industry and cloud requirements, subsequently allowing clients to achieve the greatest level of value-add at the lowest cost.
Before joining eTERA, Mr. Hurlebaus worked for ZyLAB as a Senior eDiscovery Consultant. During his tenure, he built and designed complex eDiscovery solutions across both commercial and government clients. Before ZyLAB, Mr. Hurlebaus worked in the enterprise search space with big box vendors like Autonomy, IBM and SDL International for more than 10 years. This vast search background has given him the unique ability to architect strategic ways to get into big data repositories and find relevant case material in the most efficient manner. His focus abroad was to educate new business into emerging markets in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Hurlebaus studied for his Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering at Clemson University. His Bachelor’s degree is in Computer Science from University of Georgia College of Engineering. He is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.
