FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE MASTERS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES THIRD ANNUAL E-DISCOVERY CONFERENCE IS NEARLY SOLD OUT
"Viewing E-Discovery Through the Corporate Veil" brings thought leaders, hot topics and cutting-edge technology together in one place

ORLANDO, FLA - October 07, 2008 — The Masters Conference, an educational conference staffed with well-respected and knowledgeable experts in the legal profession, announces their third annual conference "Viewing E-Discovery Through the Corporate Veil," is nearly sold out. The event is being held October 16-17, 2008, at the Ronald Reagan Building located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Washington, D.C. The Masters Conference was designed to accommodate only 300 attendees to provide an intimate setting where discussions can take place and relationships can form between corporate legal professionals, law firm professionals and exhibiting companies.

The main focus of this conference is the corporate entity as the target for e-discovery preparedness. The event is kept to a smaller group of attendees to ensure collaboration and lively discussion between all parties involved and serves as a platform where relationships can form and strengthen. Topics presented at this event include:

• Subprime Mortgage Litigation
• Conducting Cost Effective Internal Investigations
• The Three Perspectives of Audio Discovery in Regulatory Investigations
• Safe Harbor: Discovery Management in a Borderless Corporate Environment
• Ethics in Discovery

Electronically Stored Information (ESI)-related decisions are being written every day and this conference is the place to hear all about what is going on in the industry. As an example, Magistrate Judge Grimm recently ruled on a case (Victor Stanley, Inc. v. Creative Pipe, Inc., Civil Action No. MJG-06-2662 (D. Md. May 29, 2008)), stating that in the circumstances that were presented, the defendants waived any claim to attorney-client privilege or work-product doctrine protection with respect to the inadvertently produced documents. The Masters Conference will have experts like Judge Grimm to discuss such issues and bring light to topics facing all legal professionals today.

In addition to hearing from thought-leading presenters on timely topics facing the industry, participants will have the ability to network during the conference as well as during the receptions that follow the first day of the event. From 5:30-6:30 p.m., The Women in eDiscovery will be hosting a reception, and from 5:30-7:30 p.m. there will be a reception for all attendees and sponsors of the event in the Pavilion. Live music will be provided by the Glenmont Group Band.

"We are close to meeting the capacity of our conference, once again," stated Sasha Hefler, president of the Masters Conference. "Keeping this conference in the intimate setting is of utmost importance to us. The speakers are of the highest caliber, the topics that will be presented cover what everyone in the industry is talking about, and the attendees are top notch. I have no doubt the discussions at this event will be interesting to everyone who attends."

The Masters Conference is supported by media affiliates that help make this event a success including: ILTA (International Legal Technology Association), ALSP (Association of Litigation Support Professionals), eTECHnews, Legal Times, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and the New York Law Journal.
