ORLANDO, Florida (March 5, 2008) — The Masters Conference, an educational conference staffed with well-respected and knowledgeable experts in the legal profession, announced today that Sasha Hefler was promoted to president of the organization. Hefler has been involved in production of the Masters Conference since its inception in 2005. As president of the organization, Hefler is responsible for continuing the successful implementation of this exclusive e-discovery event for corporate counsel, litigators, litigation support professionals and other stakeholders in the legal industry.
The third annual Masters Conference: Viewing E-Discovery through the Corporate Veil will focus on the corporate entity as the target for e-discovery preparedness. The conference will be held on October 16-17, 2008, at the Ronald Reagan Building, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington D.C. Regularly updated information is available at www.themastersconference.com.
The Masters Conference is an intimate forum where speakers, legal professionals and legal vendors can share, collaborate and obtain master knowledge of e-discovery. Maintained on a small scale with attendance capped at 350 delegates, the Masters Conference is meant to be an exclusive opportunity to learn and network with the top legal professionals in the industry without battling large crowds and vendor halls.
"I look forward to continuing the tradition of upholding the high standards of the Masters Conference," commented Hefler. "Our conference in Washington, D.C. this October encompasses how corporations handle overall e-discovery issues. The first day keynote speaker will be Robert Owen, partner at Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P., and he will discuss corporate survey trends. The second day keynote speaker is Magistrate Judge John M. Facciola who will be educating delegates on emerging corporate issues and what we have learned since Morgan Stanley."
Hefler holds a bachelors degree in communications and broadcasting from the University of Wisconsin, and is based out of the Masters Conference Orlando, Florida office.
