Shane M. McGee Shane McGee is General Counsel & Vice President of Legal Affairs at MANDIANT. He has worked as an attorney for 13 years, most of that time practicing at large firms in the areas of data privacy and security law. Shane is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). Prior to joining MANDIANT, Shane spent eight years at SNR Denton and ended his time there as a partner and co-chair of the Internet and Data Protection Group. During his time at SNR Denton, Shane managed the firm’s Investigations, Computer forensics and Electronic discovery (ICE) lab, and utilized that resources to conduct internal and external investigations, and to help his clients respond to discovery requests and subpoenas requesting electronic information. Before SNR Denton, Shane practiced at Hogan & Hartson (nowHogan Lovells) where he worked closely with technology companies of all sizes.
