Mr. Matzen, is a Director with Intelligent Discovery Solutions (“iDS”) in Washington, D.C. and is charge of the International Discovery and Data Privacy group.  Mr. Matzen brings over nine years of experience in the fields of consulting, data collection, data preservation, litigation hold execution, data analyses, advance search technologies, data repository use and data production.  Domestic and international matters alike, Mr. Matzen has experience in developing work plans for complex cases and executing them in accordance with industry best practices.  Mr. Matzen is well educated in the latest electronic discovery case law and best practices in the industry and is currently pursuing his CIIP- C certification in data privacy.

Prior to joining Intelligent Discovery Solutions, Mr. Matzen served as Regional Director and Consultant for Xact Data Discovery based in Dallas, Texas.  Mr. Matzen performed both project management and consultative tasks for a wide array of both corporate and law firm clientele.

Mr. Matzen is a member of the Sedona Conference WG6, the ABA White Collar Crime division and the IAPP (International Association for Privacy Professionals).
